How the Course Works

Your journey towards gaining a full driving licence begins from our modern training centre at 9:00am on the Monday of your chosen week and concludes at 4:00pm on Friday of the same week. Throughout the week, you'll benefit from a structured, intensive training programme designed to maximise your progress and prepare you for success on test day.

Each morning starts with an instructor-led briefing, where you'll review the day's objectives before heading out with your dedicated course instructor for approximately six hours of practical driving tuition. Training is carefully divided into focused learning sessions, ensuring every aspect of the syllabus is covered while steadily building the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to pass your practical test.

Our intensive courses are delivered by fully qualified, highly experienced instructors who specialise in accelerated driver training. Their expertise allows them to tailor the programme to your individual needs, helping you develop quickly and confidently in a supportive learning environment.

Your daily training structure remains consistent throughout the week, providing continuity and measurable progress. On Thursday afternoon, all participants take part in a professionally conducted mock driving test with a different instructor. This unbiased assessment identifies any final areas for improvement and provides valuable insight into your readiness for the real test.

Following the mock test, you'll receive a detailed debrief and personalised action plan. Your instructor will then focus Friday morning's final training session on refining any remaining areas before accompanying you to your practical driving test that afternoon.

Accommodation Available

If you live locally, you're welcome to attend the course on a daily basis. However, for those wishing to fully immerse themselves in the experience, accommodation can be added during the booking process.

We'll arrange your stay at one of our carefully selected hotels, located within a two-minute walk of the training centre. This allows you to focus entirely on your development throughout the week without the stress of travelling each day.

As courses typically include several participants, you'll also have the opportunity to meet like-minded learners, build new friendships, and support one another throughout the week. Many candidates find that sharing experiences and relaxing together during the evenings helps reduce nerves and boosts confidence ahead of test day.

What Experience Do You Need?

The DVSA recommends a minimum of 45 hours of professional driving tuition alongside 22 hours of private practice before taking a practical driving test. However, intensive training delivered over a condensed period can significantly accelerate learning through focused, structured development and regular repetition of key skills.

This course is ideally suited to learners who already have around 10 hours or more of driving experience. Whether you're approaching test standard, have recently failed a test, or have completed part of your training elsewhere, our instructors will quickly assess your current ability and tailor the course to help you achieve the best possible outcome.

After all, there is no substitute for quality practice. The more experience you gain behind the wheel, the better prepared you'll be for both your driving test and a lifetime of safe driving.

If you're completely new to driving, you can still benefit from the course. Simply remove the practical test option during checkout and focus on developing your core driving skills throughout the week. At the end of the course, you'll meet with our team to discuss your progress, identify a suitable test date, and plan the next stage of your training.
